Many aim to accumulate wealth to live in prosperity, to take care of family and provide comfortable life. So much focus in it that it became unfortunate for many to lose sight of the truth.

"What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?"

Financial Stewardship is far more than creating wealth. It is about seeking God first, know His ways and how He wants us to help others. This is understanding the 'gift' that He has placed in each of us and be of service to others.

Everyone is called for a reason. Each one brings something unique and important.

It is in God that we find our 'gift', our purpose, our identity. It is God who equipped us to produce wealth. We were created to know God and worship Him, but our sins have separated us from Him. However, He love us so much that He sent His Only Son Jesus Christ to pay the price to bring us back. Jesus Christ died for us and resurrected, to make a way for us to get back to God. If you believe and follow Jesus, He has promised us eternal life with God. No amount of wealth can ever surpass this.

Note that this love that God has for us and to save us is not because of the good works we do, but out of His mercy. Because of His love, we then share this love to others by doing good works.

To understand your 'gift', you need to be in constant communication with God. You can do this thru prayer and ask God that you may be filled with the Holy Spirit. It's very important that you read the Bible (God-inspired book) as He communicates with you when you meditate on it.

3. Ask God and He will show you your 'gift'. Click to read Matthew 7:7-8.

4. Use your 'gift'. Otherwise, it will be taken away from you by God. Click to read Matthew 25:14–30.

9. We should not just focus on our own self but also help others in the process. Click to read Galatians 6:2.

10. Most importantly, and the first of all these, is to receive Jesus in your life. Click to read John 14:6.

If you find this helpful, share it to your family and friends. They too have 'gifts' to share it to us, and more importantly, they need the salvation that Jesus gives us when we accept and follow Him.

May God bless you!
